SOURCING WORKSHEET / FIRST ORDER
Compare quotes from up to 3 factories
FREE basic specification and sourcing-requirements review
Eligible first orders may receive up to 3%
Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements. Final savings depend on supplier confirmation, product type and order value.
Pipe Extrusion Line Sourcing coordinates comparable factory quotations for an hdpe pipe extrusion line. We align assumptions on resin, diameter, wall structure, cooling length, haul-off and which tooling, installation, shipping, training and commissioning items are included. We do not manufacture equipment, hold stock or act as a brand-appointed reseller. Named plants confirm feasibility; this page explains how delivery scope is lined up before anyone treats headlines as matched prices.
Service stage and responsibilities
Buyers supply the HDPE pipe matrix: grades, outer diameters, wall thicknesses, layer ratios if used, and the duty cycle (hours per day and changeovers). State the electrical supply (voltage, phase, frequency), cooling-water temperature and flow, compressed air demand, footprint and the upstream hopper or gravimetric feed the plant already owns. Quantity, US destination and the delivery window belong in the same brief so freight assumptions stay visible. Optional budget (amount or range, currency, per-unit or whole-order) and premium, mid-range, budget-friendly or still-comparing preference can be added; they are buyer preference, not a verified factory rating.
Factories confirm whether the quoted cooling length and haul-off arrangement support the proposed line speed for each priority HDPE size, and they list die, calibrator and downstream changes. Throughput in kilograms per hour must name the pipe and test conditions; a headline metres-per-minute figure is not validated output. PLC interface, vacuum calibration control and dimensional measurement must be named as included or buyer-furnished. For corrugated HDPE, the bidder must say who supplies the corrugator and forming tooling rather than implying a complete forming cell.
Delivery scope after the machine price includes packing, shipping, installation labour, training, commissioning and spare parts. Ask whether FAT uses buyer resin and representative samples, and how SAT will record dimensions, appearance and a controlled size changeover. Pipe product certification for the manufactured HDPE remains a buyer-defined evidence item; a factory’s general extrusion experience is not that evidence. Read how to assign train responsibility before signing a mixed-scope sheet.
Single-machine versus integrated-line is a live procurement dispute: some bidders quote the extruder and expect the plant to furnish vacuum tanks, while others quote a complete train with shared drives. Nominal speed versus validated output is the second dispute: saleable HDPE pipe at the agreed wall may be slower than the catalog peak once cooling and haul-off are honest. Machine price versus installed project cost is the third: tooling, shipping, utilities, installation and spare parts often exceed the extruder line item. This coordination service records those splits; it does not guarantee output or a uniform discount.
Limitations stay explicit. Cooling length that fits one thin-wall SKU may not hold ovality at a thicker wall. Floor length that is shorter than the proposed trough is a site constraint, not a factory defect. Drawings can be sent after first contact because this form has no upload field. Certificates, if required, will be requested from the named factory rather than presented as this website’s credentials.
